If you’ve never been to Oakley’s HQ, you need to take a drive over there. The compound is pretty surreal as the whole building looks like a set James Cameron would build for one of his movies. MFEST had their “Trend setters” meet at the Oakley compound to showcase their cars, vendors, and their latest DVD from MFEST V. All in all, it was a great event and expect to see more of their trend setting cars at the Anaheim Show on August 6th.
MFEST's booth was slammed as always, with their adoring fans
As LA is getting ready for the 17th X-Games on July 28, Ken Block held a small private event at the Dodger Stadium, giving ride alongs to some VIP’s and then putting on a show for the 1,000+ people that came. He had a special surprise as moto-cross riders came out and did some spectacular jumps (we missed that because we had to rush over to Oakley in Orange County for the MFEST meet). Here are a few photos of Ken Block doing, well, what he does best, hooning.
The LA Skyline as a backdrop for the Gymkhana event was awesome.

Kind of digging the vinyls on this Lotus.
Everytime this Vette would fire up, you could hear it wherever you were in the pits.

All in all, it was good seeing some old friends, some new faces, and checking out the Redline Time Attack series. Good luck to all the drivers/teams today!
We were worried about the event because as you can see the wet pavement, it was raining on the way there up until the moment we arrived.
But the rain didn’t keep the thousands of people away from this meet. The lot was packed!
Upon arriving, we immediately saw Bisimoto’s amazing CRZ.
Soccer moms? Quite the opposite. These little rugrats are the next generation of enthusiasts!
Taking it back old school. A true OG CRX.
I think Dave@SpoCom was reminiscing about the past. Perhaps he had one?
Yes, it’s a RHD CRX. JDM enough for ya?
From old school, to new school.
We were there for a bit, and the crowds kept on coming. Overall, a great meet!
